Welcome to the North East Contact Lens Society. NECLS is an organisation set up to improve the education of contact lens practitioners in the North East of England. We have members from all over the UK who attend our biannual conferences which are held in the North East region.

Please use this site to view details of up and coming conferences, gain contact information for our committee members and learn more about the society.

Our conferences provide low cost contact lens education to its members with presentations from reputable speakers from across the UK. We provide accredited Vantage CET points to delegates whenever possible.

We also hold an annual evening lecture in memory of Morley Ford (one of our founder members). This is a less formal lecture, followed by a more intimate & relaxed meal for attending members.

The society is proud to collaborate with contact lens manufacturing companies to support new product launches by offering short presentations and exhibition space at our conferences.

Existing NECLS members

If you are not yet registered on the site, then register as a new user by clicking "create an account". Once our administrator has confirmed your membership status, you may log back in to book your place at the reduced members rate.
You may also renew your annual membership on line by logging into the members area. We will contact you to let you know when your membership is due for annual renewal.

Non-Members & Guests
If you wish join the society, or attend our next conference,as a non-member, please register as a new user by clicking "create an account". You can then log in immediately and book your place at the full rate of £120, or download a "membership application" from the user menu on the right hand side to apply for membership and benefit from cheaper member conference rates of £80.
